COATING
BOOTHS
We provide complete solutions for the preparation, capturing and retention of particulates in systems for applying liquid or powder paint. The equipment is built to the highest technological standards, combining lower operating costs and higher quality end products.
Powder Coating
Booths
- CPPE AC PVC: booths with antistatic PVC bodies, combining the latest painting technologies to guarantee high performance and quick color changes.
- CPPE AC: booths with a powder recovery system featuring a cyclone for easy color changes
- CPPE AR: booths with high powder recovery efficiency, suitable for fixed color applications
- CPPE Flex / CI3F: lean booths that guarantee flexibility and ease for painting small parts
Powder collector
- Collects paint fines, preventing powder from going to the environment
- Double filtration, guaranteeing retention
- Automatic filter’s cleaning
- Greater efficiency: It is possible to use 100% of the poweravailable from the fans and their motors
- Makes it easier to dispose of paint fines of different colors
Cyclone
- Separates overspray into particles useful for application, which are reused, and paint fines, which are discarded in the collector
- Automatic screening with pneumatic drive
- Set of VPC valves that continuously dose the powder collected into the powder central
- Intuitive, easy-to-operate, control panel
Booth’s body
- Anti-static PVC construction ensures that the paint is not adhered to the walls, allowing quick cleaning
- Automatic floor cleaning systemby compressed air, directing the powder to the recovery system
- Outputs of exhaustion located in the sides, avoiding that the flow of air interfere na aplicação.
- Ergonomic platform for manual retouching
Powder Central
- Responsible for managing new powder and recovered powder
- Fast color change with ergonomic paint refilling
- Built-in exhaust system to prevent contamination during color change
- Automatic gun retro-cleaning system
- Intuitive control panel – Touch Screen
The main highlight among the coating booths produced by Erzinger is the model with PVC construction. The innovative structure of this new booth allows for quick color changes, better quality in the finishing, more savings and greater efficiency in the application PVC is an insulating material that has antistatic characteristics, which means that paint particles are not attracted to the constructive parts of the equipment, preventing them from adhering to walls and floors.
This feature promotes a significant reduction in recirculating paint in the system, improving the ratio of recovered to virgin paint, reducing contamination and facilitating a homogeneous layer. The result is a few thousand dollars saved over the year in powder consumption alone.
In addition, the constructive concept of side exhaust outlets gives this new generation of equipment high application performance and very low paint particle breakdown. Savings on applicator wear parts are strongly observed in this concept, as the air flow at the right points allows application with less compressed air.
Operation
Overspray
Any excess paint powder that is not effectively transferred to the part is collected by the paint booth’s exhaust system. The ratio of the volume of powder applied to the volume of powder collected by the booth is called “Application or Transfer Efficiency”.
Cyclone
The overspray collected by the exhaust system is separated by the working principle of the cyclone, a gravitational separation, dividing the overspray into large particles (useful for application) and fine particles (not useful for application).
Powder Central
Paint reservoir where the recovered powder that is useful for the application is deposited. A powder level monitoring unit automatically triggers an alarm when the amount of powder in the reservoir reaches a low level and needs to be refilled.
Powder fines
Light particles, not useful for application, are sentto the powdercollectorwhich will filterthepowderpreventing from getting into suspension out of the booth. Thecollector system works withcartridgesflters andplatefilters, directing the fines to disposal.
Powder Coating
Liquid Paint
Among the liquid paint booth concepts are the Dry Paint Booth (CPVS) type, which uses disposable paper filters, and the Wet Paint Booth / Water Curtain Booth (CPCA) type, which combines high productivity and the rational use of water.
For projects with a high degree of cleanliness and risk of contamination, Erzinger supplies enclosed clean rooms for the treatment and control of cleanliness, temperature and humidity in the painting environment.
In line with global trends in environmentally friendly solutions, Erzinger booths have optimum exhaust, low energy consumption and maximum reduction of overspray levels.
CPVS and CPCA modules
Erzinger works with two types of booth for liquid paint:
- CPVS: dry spray booth, uses filters to capture overspray particles.
- CPCA: has a water curtain as its main filtration medium.
Filters for liquid paint
The filters installed in Erzinger spray booths are designed to capture any liquid or solid particles contained in the air flow. All filters are manufactured in Germany, following EPA, BACT, ASHRAE, VOC2010 and NFPA standards that meet the national regulations of all importing countries.
Inflation system
The function of this exhaust system is to create a clean environment free of contaminating particles, so there is no risk of contaminating parts with particles that disperse through the air.
Automatic door opening
To make the system even more efficient, the booth’s doors can close automatically after the parts have passed through, so there is no risk of any gaps remaining in the cabin that could release contaminants into the atmosphere.
